Family Conferences
Conferences are sponsored by the Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer Network Trials Unit (DIAN-TU) and the Alzheimer’s Association, with grant support (1R13AG055232-01) from the National Institutes on Health/National Institute on Aging.*
Learn about the annual international family conference that brings together individuals affected by DIAD to learn from and support each other and hear about the latest research.
We recognize that advancements in the fight against DIAD are only possible with the support and participation of DIAD families in our research. To share what we’ve learned and enable families to connect with each other, the Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer Network Trials Unit (DIAN-TU), in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, hosts an international Family Conference each year.
These conferences offer both families and physicians the opportunity to hear and ask questions about the latest research efforts as well as learn about available resources, long-term care concerns and advocacy efforts.
